Does PNG to JPG make the file smaller?
Photos and screenshots usually shrink to a fraction. Simple pictures of text and shapes can be smaller as PNG.
What happens to a transparent background?
JPG cannot hold transparency, so it gets the background colour you pick (white by default). Keep logos as PNG or use WebP if they need transparency.
Will text get blurry?
JPG can smear sharp edges a little. For screenshots with lots of text, a quality of 95 or more stays crisp.
