Video trimmer

Keep the part you need and save it as MP4. Your file stays in this browser and is never uploaded.

Three steps

  1. Choose a video
  2. Set start and end
  3. Download MP4

Keep exactly the part you need

Choose start and end

Seek in the preview and use its current position, or enter times in seconds.

Save a new MP4

The selected part is re-encoded as H.264 video and AAC audio. Long selections take time, and quality may change slightly.

Trimming video cleanly

Cutting at the exact moment

Drag a rough range on the timeline, then step one frame at a time with the previous and next frame buttons. “Use current position” fills in the point you are watching, or type the time in seconds.

When it helps

Cut the set-up time before and after a recording, keep only the highlight of a long video to share in a chat or on social media, or shorten a clip before uploading somewhere with a size limit.

Why does it re-encode?

Video plays from key pictures stored every few seconds, so cutting at any frame means compressing again. The result is an H.264 and AAC MP4 that plays everywhere; long ranges take a little time.

Joining several parts

To pick several scenes from one video and join them, or to add captions and music, use the AGONECO Video Editor. Take the trimmed result there and split, reorder and keep editing.

FAQ

Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything happens in this browser. The conversion engine (about 30 MB) downloads once and is reused afterwards.

Can it handle large files?

It works in browser memory, so re-encoding files of several GB or long videos can be slow or fail. Use the desktop app for large videos.

Is it free?

Yes. No limits and no watermark.
